Ce travail consiste à faire une étude numérique de la méthode des éléments finis multi-échelles pour le problème du type Stokes en présence de coefficients fortement oscillants. Lʼobjectif de cette méthode est de capturer la structure multi-échelles de la solution via les fonctions de base locales précalculées. Ces dernières contiennent les informations essentielles sur les petites échelles.
This work consists of a numerical study of a multi-scale finite element method for a Stokes-type problem with highly oscillating coefficients. The objective of this method is to capture the multi-scale structure of the solution via local basis functions calculated in advance, which contain the essential information on small scales.
