L'histoire récente des mathématique non standard est mise en perspective de manière à faire apparaître une modification dans le langage utilisé et dans la pratique de la référentiation des énoncés qui pourrait conduire, si on le souhaitait à rapprocher la langue mathématique d'une langue de communication. La profusion des constructions ensemblistes peut être limitée grâce à un vocabulaire un peu plus riche permettant de «dire l'indétermination», l'indiscernabilité, l'inaccessibilité... quand cela est nécessaire et d'explorer plus finement par le langage mathématique, par une sorte de traduction du langage courant, des concepts sur lesquels le langage des mathématiques conventionnelles est presque muet : concepts de point, de grandeur infinie ou infinitésimale etc...

The recent history of nonstandard mathematics is displayed so as to reveal a modification in the used language as well that in the way the referentiation of the statements is done. These changes could lead to bring the mathematical language closer to a language of communication. The profusion of constructions of sets can be limited thanks to a little richer vocabulary making it possible “to express the indetermination”, indiscernibility, inaccessibility... when it is necessary, and permit also to explore more precisely with the mathematical language, using a sort of translation of the ordinary language, some concepts about which the language of conventional mathematics is almost dumb such as concepts of point, infinity or infinitesimality.
