Nous proposons ici de nous intéresser au problème de la restauration de certains défauts de luminosité qui apparaissent dans les vieux films. Nous montrons comment ce problème peut être modélisé mathématiquement, et comment, par l’introduction d’un opérateur de stabilisation locale du contraste, on peut restaurer ces films. Ceci est illustré par des exemples.
